Claves Standards
Trust requires clarity.
The most private relationships require discretion, but they also require clear responsibility, professional boundaries and transparent authority.
Responsible use
Discretion does not remove standards.
Claves may decline a request that is unlawful, unsafe, inappropriate or inconsistent with the standards of the House. Regulated and specialist advice is provided by appropriately qualified independent professionals.
Boundaries
Claves House coordinates appropriately qualified independent professionals and does not itself provide legal, tax, financial, medical or security advice.
Selection
Specialists and institutions are selected according to the brief; an existing relationship does not determine whether a specialist is selected.
Restraint
We would rather say that something is uncertain than sell fiction. Provenance, availability, permissions and legality are resolved before promises, never after.
Vetted routes
Every table, maker, clinic and route the House recommends has been experienced, verified or vouched for by someone the founders trust. The route is vetted, not listed.
Named relationships
Specialists and institutions are named publicly only where the relationship is real, current and appropriate to reference. Where a relationship is still being formalised, the discipline is described without the name.
Fees
Every engagement is priced individually and confirmed in writing, so you always know the cost before you commit. Third-party costs, acquisitions and contingencies are always separated and approved before commitment.
Preference keeping
With your written consent, the House retains preference and context information after a mandate so future work starts further forward. Consent can be withdrawn at any time; the Privacy Notice explains retention and your rights.
Honest history
Work we have done and commissions available for the future are always labelled as such. Proposed editions are never presented as completed work.
