Confidentiality & Discretion
Careful handling
Private matters deserve careful handling. Claves House limits access to client information to people who need it for an agreed purpose and applies appropriate confidentiality arrangements with its team and providers.
Agreed channels
We agree the authorised contacts, suitable communication channels and relevant information sharing at the start of a mandate. A mutual confidentiality agreement can be put in place before a sensitive discussion. Client names, images, locations and identifiable case details are not used for publicity without appropriate written permission.
Discretion within the law
Discretion operates within the law. We may need to share information with appointed professionals, necessary service providers, insurers, courts or public authorities, or for lawful safeguarding and reporting. Confidentiality cannot be used to conceal unlawful activity or prevent protected disclosures. Our Privacy Notice explains our handling of personal information.
Additional controls
If your matter requires additional controls, describe the requirement in general terms and we will agree a suitable process before receiving sensitive documents.
